Switzerland: 20 November 2016 is the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims. For 21 years it has been observed and promoted worldwide.
The World Health Organiation (WHO) and the United Nations Road Safety Collaboration (UNRSC) encourage governments and NGOs around the world to commemorate this day.
This year WHO has published a new “Post-Crash Response” booklet to further encourage global support of those affected in traffic crashes. The document includes case studies and a framework for Countries, NGO’s and emergency services to road trauma. Download here:

#WDR2016 represents the halfway point in the 2011-2020 decade of Action for Road Safety established by UN General Assembly Resolution to accelerate coordinated international action aimed at reducing the number of deaths due to road traffic injuries.
