Manila: Saudi Airlines has said via Twitter that a reported hijacking of flight SV872 was a false alarm. The Saudi Airlines flight departed from Jeddah and was scheduled to land in the Philippines Capital of Manilia. 

On landing the aircraft was isolated and reported to have been surrounded by security forces. The airline’s website crashed during the incident, adding to the confusion.
